Rent an MG Maxus 9 electric car from Bangkok to Phuket.

For those who love to travel and relax, today we will share our experience of renting an electric car to travel to Phuket. Nowadays, there are many car rental companies that we can choose to rent. There are many models of cars to choose from, but we like the MG Maxus 9 electric car. The company that provides good service and fast response is Exclusive Car Rental. The details of the rental documents are quite detailed because each car rental company has different service regulations. Most of them are about insurance, compensation for damages, returning the car, and renewing the car rental. We may lose the right to receive certain benefits or may have to pay for damages if we violate the regulations. On the day of pick-up and drop-off, the staff provided good service, explained the rental contract, and recommended how to use the car in detail.

So we would like to share our experience of driving to travel in a chill way, enjoying the scenery along the way, getting a different feeling from flying, in case anyone wants to try a road trip style travel experience. We recommend using an
EV car because it saves a lot on travel costs (but you have to plan your car charging well because the distance of the gas station with an EV charger is quite far, hundreds of kilometers). The provinces we stopped to charge our electric cars were Prachuap, Chumphon - Surat Thani - Phuket.

Day 1 Depart from Bangkok-Phuket
Starting point: Leave home at 05.00 with 99% battery

First charging point: From home to Prachuap, PTT Sam Roi Yot charging station (outbound side)

Stopped the car at Khao Yoi to stretch our legs before continuing our journey. The next destination was Tung Wua Laen Beach, Chumphon.

Before resting and sleeping in the back garden area at Baan Klang Suan Resort (where you stay depends on where you are comfortable). Sleep in Chumphon, drive 6 hours a day, take a nap and rest. The next day, continue the journey.

Second charging point: From 95% battery, we will reach another point, Tha Sae branch charging station, Chumphon Province (inbound side, make a small U-turn)

Day 2 Arrived in Phuket today, want to chill. Come to Phuket, want to live a slow life, so I stayed at NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort.
Accommodation: NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort This place is very beautiful, good atmosphere, suitable for relaxation. Beautiful room, nice atmosphere restaurant, delicious food here. The waiters are smiling and friendly. Very good service, cute, friendly, good recommendations for the hotel. If I have a chance again, I will definitely come back to stay here again.

Day 3: Because our bodies wanted to hit the sea, we drove to Phuket and had breakfast at NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort. How could we not see the sea? We headed to Nai Thon Beach.

Return to accommodation: NH Boat Lagoon Phuket Resort

Day 4 I really intended to play in the water and the sea to the fullest. However, yesterday the sun was very strong. I myself got sick. I couldn't go play in the water anymore because I had to take my body back to Bangkok first. Bye bye PHUKET. I'll come back again. I'll travel back to Bangkok on the same route. The car charging station is the same as before.

Summary: This is a short version of our trip. We did it. Along the way, we showed you that it can really be done. As for other expenses such as food and accommodation, we think it depends on each person's lifestyle preferences. We chose to rent an electric car with Exclusive Car Rental. For anyone looking for a car to drive yourself to travel or go on a trip with friends, I guarantee that it's worth it. Or if anyone wants to travel with their family but doesn't want to drive themselves, there is a car rental service with a driver.
